So often we create the very thing we fear the most.
We take the thing we’re afraid of and we hold that idea in our head so tightly, with so much focus that it becomes all we think about. It becomes the only outcome we see.
At that point, our subconscious mind has its instructions. We think the thoughts and take the actions that lead us directly to the thing we feared. We spend our energy visualizing the thing until it eventually becomes a reality.
We’re always surprised when it happens. We say, “I tried so hard to prevent this, how did it happen anyway?”
It was the only outcome that our brain thought was possible. Can we really be surprised?
